Additioinal vehicle classes such as larger Tanks, Aircraft have been added to the server.
  • Background
The server opened in late January 2020 and owned by Solmex, which is mirror image of defunct NavalClash server, which he founded and coded many it's features. Using existing Discord server opened in 2017, from there formed a resistance against way NavalClash was operating. Solmex and Maximupayne formed a joint operation to operate perhaps 2 servers in same name as NBZ. However, Solmex's server is referred to NBZ2 to not be confused with this wiki's former server/navycraft.

Setup

  • Game Play
Players spawn their vehicles and usually try to encounter opposing players, gaining Experience points to achieve additional rank points if they win a battle. The main focus of the server is vehicle combat, but player combat is also very popular. Battle Zone Revisited

  • Description
A 1.12 MC version of Navycraft Lite - This was an arcade/mini-game server using navycraft. Created by Profilename1, former Naval Battlezone staffer.
  • Background
Created September 2018, Battlezone Zone Revised used the original codes for Navycraft, which was last updated in 2017 by one the original programmers of the spigot, Maximuspayne. Profilename1 restructured the code work while working out issues.

Setup

  • Game Play
The server spawn used NBZ's old Enterprise Aircraft Carrier spawn. Players were given a brief tutorial and asked select arena to play in. Arena combat setup per vehicle type. Team Combat with Ships is setup in Area 2 "Green Hell", which is classic World War II mode, Blue vs Red, where player chooses team to play with where they battle it out. Area 1 is a highly detailed TankSpawn & Pvp area., Area 3 Farm Areas, Small with starting bases with choices of pre-made vehicles for combat. Player may choose roles for pvp combat session, where they will receive kits to arm themselves, which are hand-guns and other specialty items to allow them do battle. Area 4 is a Beach combat area. Each area is designed to certain number people before allowing individuals to enter battlezone. Each map resets to allow it to be ready for another battle.

Summary

  • Summary
As of this writing (January, 2019), additional Arenas and features are planned, but game population very low & infrequent as this time. The server principle weakness it's dependency for reasonable amount of players present to play against or there is means of playing. By Summer 2019, the server had closed down due to lack interest in players visiting site.

Scarlet Oceans

  • Description
Running 1.12 Navycraft Lite - Terrariola's Scarlet Oceans was a Survival/Faction server using the old NBZ Spawn and Map from 2015. Originally the server was named Crimson Tide. They later updated to Navycraft Reloaded, like IronSeas. Shutdown November 2018.
  • Background
Originally Terariola's personal server, it was opened to the public as a replacement for TechCorp 4, a completely unrelated Minecraft server opened in late 2017.

Setup

  • Game Play
Opened in April 2018, the map is 2016 Permafaction map, which is giant sea in center of the map, while land is on the outskirts. Disease and sickness spigots have been added. Making it challenging to players who wish to try to play hardcore without significant assistance from the server. Player/factions fight for resources as their used up, salvage of sunken ships for resources is encouraged, and ships are (usually) built in the wild. Limited spawning of vehicles is possible, but greatly discouraged.

Economics

  • Economics
Bartering, raiding, using the money generators scattered throughout spawn, and farming nether warts.

Summary

  • Summary
While still being very new, and harboring a virtually non-existant player base, the premise is different than the original NBZ setup, making it interesting to players who want the NBZ style combat, while preferring a different type of economy, and more of a raw survival experience supplemented with Navycraft. Issues of the ownership maintaining it online was another factor for it's shutdown. Owner has said they wish restore it.

IronSeas

  • Description
Was a 1.12 MC version of Navycraft (custom) - Similar setup to Naval Battlezone (Shipyard, WW1) - Expanded vehicle selections. These expanded versions include the use of airships, Tank2's and other developments that were not actively used on NBZ's later years of it's history. IronSeas' World has a Shipyard where players may build their own vehicles if they choose to, or use a Public ship (rental) for their combat needs. Navycraft used by IronSeas is a branch version of it called Navycraft Reloaded, this version while increatived experimentation including development of fly missiles using same principles of Torpedoes, however height and distant is controlled.
  • Background
Created shortly after when Naval Battlezone closed April 2017, this server is run by Solmex. He is a coder by trade, and had originally teamed up with other people who were trying to pool their resources to build a new Naval Battlezone and merged his server to form NavalClash. However over the course of time Solmex had issues with how the Server would and would split off to ultimately re-establish Iron Seas with various veteran players from NBZ. Both IronSeas and NavalClash have disputes among their staff. However, by November 2018 the server merged effectively taking over NavalClash, Ironseas became new NavalClash. Originally mentioned as NavalClash 2.0.

Setup

  • Game Play
Players spawn their vehicles and usually try to encounter opposing players, gaining Experience points to achieve additional rank points if they win a battle. Players can form factions and claim land, with additional members expanding land they can own and protected to a degree by world guard unless a Faction declares war.

Economics

  • Economics
Paydays are gained per-login per-server day, supplemental pay can be gained by sinking ships.

Summary

  • Summary
Server had allowed for more options, while keeping to the original formula of game play NBZ was known for. However, as of this (May, 2018) Iron Seas has low active population. The server offers different features not normally used on traditional navycraft servers. Changes include addition of Missiles, Limited-Plot Scheming, Expanded Shipyard Controls, Ammunition for Cannons changed to need Emerald Ore add more ammo when a cannon runs out. The server maintains very low population, which fluxgates during the day. It's recommended to be patient on this server, as players will come if they see people on it. November 2018, the server merged with NavalClash, using all the features and staff of IronSeas to remake it.

NavalClash

  • Description
Was a navycraft game is set up for Faction Warfare and Vehicle Combat, with a main spawn and a moderately size world for factions to play on. Like the original NavalBattlezone, the server features a Shipyard World for construction of vehicles, and various venues to spawn them in (Ship & Aircraft Spawners). Other types such as Tanks must be spawned mounted on spawned vehicles, such as Ship, or rarely, Aircraft. The server started similarly as NBZ sharing virtually the same worlds, spawns and public vehicles as the original. This lasted until April 2018, when it was changed to the Island set up, which differs dramatically from NBZ's traditional game play. Additionally, the Island Update saw the expansion of Ranks from Enlisted E1 Seaman, to Fleet Admiral. It spans 29 ranks overall.
  • Background
Perhaps was one the most popular of the active navycraft servers, NavalClash opened in May 2017, shortly after NBZ's final shutdown. The server is owned by Droopystarfish, who provides the money for server upkeep. Many of the early founders of navycraft servers pulled together to help this server get established. However, disagreements between the various leadership and ownership has caused problems for both the player base and server itself. The server briefly was Network Server, having offered mini-games such as AcidIsland, Dwarf vs Zombies, and a creative server and a Arcade world where points and cost do not count, allowing for unlimited play with navycraft based vehicles. However, serious griefing in Summer 2018, showed there was vulnerabilities to it's Network setup, thus removed these additional worlds. By 2019 the server was in decline, the owner had neglected leaving it to staff. By January 2020, the server population drop near single digits numbers due to opening of a rival server headed by former co-owner, Solmex. Beginning of February 2020 Droopystarfish announced the closure of the server on February 8th. He was in process to retool the server's navycraft code and replace it with an original version that he would pay for. However, his reliability was in doubt.

  • Note: Server during Spring 2018, conducted a "Island Update", which added additional features to the server including Outpost capture, Cargo Running, Drug Running and Player Stores. However, these were removed after the Summer 2018 Griefing.
